BROCHURES
Brochures
are a good way to get information on your product or service into the hands of
prospects. They can be mailed,
displayed, or left with a potential customer.
Think about the purpose of the brochure. Will it accompany other
materials or be a stand-alone piece?
However
you decide to go, here are some useful guidelines for getting the most out of
your brochure(s):
·
Put
a strong benefit or reward on the cover in order to engage the reader. At the
very least, use a headline or question to get the reader’s attention.
·
Keep
the focus on the customer, not the company. Use “you” more than “we.” Use a
conversational tone, as if you were speaking directly with the reader.
·
Triple
check spelling, company information and phone numbers.
·
Have
someone outside your company review the brochure before you send it to the
printer. It’s easy to overlook information that you assume to be understood. It
probably won’t be.
